It was pretty fun learning about a new cultur and meeting new people, and returning the favour by showing them our culture.

I can only urge people to partake in this experience and cherish it, since it was a fun time and an educational experience for life.

We woke up at 09:00 am in the morning. We had breakfast and Alpcan said his farewell to my family.

We had to leave to meet the principal of the School. They recieved their certificat’s,  and we took some photo’s. After saying goodbye to the principal we left for the airport. We were sad to say goodbye to our friend’s. After the pass control and last waves we left.

We wished them the very best for their future.

We had to go the remaining days to school again. The class was rather happy to meet them again. We didn’t do much since they only wanted to buy present’s for their friends and family. We took them several Shopping malls, as a last effort to show them as much as possible.

They said their farewell’s on tuesday to the class, since they will be leaving on wednesday.

Alpcan started to pack his things for tomorrow.

Ertugrul and I decided to do things seperatly due to the weather acting up. I took Alpcan Neuss and showed him excavation sides which bore old buildings from ancient rome, an old Castle and a Musuem. Afterwards he would watch a movie with me and we called it a day.

In the first week after the weekend Baris and Alpcan went to Duisburg for their internship at Siemen’s. We took them their pretty early, almost 05:00 am in the morning we  had to get up. Their work started at 07:00 am and lasted till 15:00 pm. Afterwards they didn’t want to go  anywhere but home to rest up for the entire week.

We took them to eat out  from time to time but nothing eventfull happend.

We went to the Rhein today. We took them to the Rheinpromenade for a stroll. On the way we took them to a park due to the nice weather. We then took them to the radio tower  nearby. We went up the tower almost 168 m above the ground and spend some time there, taking picture’s  and talking. Afterwards we all went to my place for lunch. Afterwards Baris and Ertugrul went home.

We finished  the day on a high note.

We decided to take Alpcan and Baris to Netherland. We went on a 45 min drive to Roermond a fashion Metropolitan. We showed them around and went inside many shops. After that we went to Venlo to  eat Back fish and some junkfood while showing them around. We came home pretty late and went to bed since we had something else planned for tomorrow .

The first 2 days Alpcan and Baris visited our vacational school ‚Heinrich-Hertz-Berufskollege‘. Everyone was pretty happy to see them, each and everyone tried to make them feel as welcomed as possible. We took them out for lunch. They wanted to try the fabouled German Dönner, they were delighted to have eaten it. afterwards the days were uneventfull, since they were still tired from the flight.

So we ended the day early.
