We started our journey early on Sunday the 09.02.15 to Turkey, we arrived at 15-16 o’clock at the airport Attaturk in Istanbul, and promptly made our way to the metro train station. After arriving in the bus junction in Istanbul we bought Tickets to drive to tekirda. We had to wait an hour to board the bus, because the previous one was full. After spending roughly an hour on the bus, we finally arrived at our destination.
Exhausted as we were I thought that after arrving at the foster parent’s home I wouldn’t be able to greed them properly, due to the fatigue of being on the road for this long. After meeting the family my worries went away. Its such a caring and nice family that I forgot all my fatigue and started spending time with them, even though they didn’t speak english except the older brother Ozgür with whom i immediatly became friendly quickly.
He acted as the translater and made meeting the family a lot easier, he’s a University student in Ankarah and home over break. When he’s not around we mostly communicate using simple sign language or google translater.

What’s about the English? Does your family speak English with you?
Dear Ms Stieldorf
Parden me for my late reply. We mainly cimmunicate with sign language and simple guess work since the family don’t talk english. The only one who is able to talk english is the older brother Ozğüre.
